1. Eastern Himalayan Region- Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Assam and Hill Region of West Bengal (Gangtok, Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts)

Height must be Minimum-160 Cm Minimum Chest -77 CM and Weight -48

2. Western Himalayan Region-Jammu & Kashmir, Ropar and Chandigarh), Himachal Pradesh, Punjab Hills (Area South and West of the Inter State Border between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and North and East of Road Mukerian, Garhwal and Kumaon (Uttarakhand),Hoshiarpur, Garh Shankar.

Height must be Minimum -163 Cm Minimum Chest -77 CM and Weight -48

3. Eastern Plains Region- Bihar, West Bengal, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Orissa

Height must be Minimum-169 Cm Minimum Chest -77 CM Weight -50

4. Western Plains Region-Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab ,Delhi, Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh (Meerut and Agra Division)

Height must be Minimum-170 Cm Minimum Chest -77 CM and Weight -50

5. Central Region- Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh,  Dadar, Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu

Height must be Minimum-168 Cm Minimum Chest -77 CM Weight -50

6. Southern Region- Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Puducherry

Height must be Minimum-166 Cm and Minimum Chest -77 CM Weight -50

2. Gorkhas both Nepalese and Indian - Minimum-160 Cm and Minimum Chest -77 CM Weight -48

3. Candidates from Andaman and Lakshadweep Group of Islands including Minicoy ,Nicobar Islands.
